# Polyurethane for light industry

Polyurethane is a modern and very popular raw material in various industries. In some properties it surpasses rubber, metal and rubber. The material can be used both in liquid and solid form. The main properties of polyurethane include:

- wear resistance;
- High hardness. Thanks to this property, the raw materials can be used under conditions of high mechanical loads;
- Resistance to solvents and oils;
- Resistance to deformations;
- Resistance to microorganisms, fungi and mould;
- elasticity.

Despite the high hardness, the material still remains elastic.
