# Ukraine's Largest Exhibition in the New Year

The international agro-industrial exhibition AGROEXPO, which took place last year on a record area for Ukraine of 120,000 square meters, is preparing a range of new features for 2018. What awaits its visitors?

## More Equipment + Infrastructure Improvements

The AGROEXPO exhibition will traditionally take place in the fall, from September 26 to 29, in Kropyvnytskyi (Kirovohrad). According to the organizers, this year, as in the past, an increase in exhibition space is planned. This will allow farmers to see even more samples of equipment from domestic and foreign brands, compare them, and choose the optimal one. More than 550 specialized companies will participate in the exhibition this year, including the polyurethane products factory "TIMOL".

As stated by the AGROEXPO organizing committee, this year the focus will be on improving the exhibition complex's infrastructure. The main changes will affect the indoor exhibition pavilion. An additional entrance with a separate registration area will be arranged. This should help prevent the crowding observed last year. An electronic registration system is planned, where each visitor can register independently without waiting in line. Additionally, parking and a food court area will be arranged.

## Discounts on Products from Renowned Brands

At AGROEXPO-2018, farmers will be able to purchase various equipment and machinery at a lower cost. Two discount promotions will be in effect. Under the first, if contracts for equipment purchase are signed directly at the exhibition, the farmer will receive a 5% discount. The second offers a discount of 10% or more if an exhibition sample is purchased directly from the display.

"Traditionally, a number of domestic and foreign agricultural machinery manufacturers will sell their products at a discount. This promotion has been conducted for several years and, as practice has shown, is in high demand," says AGROEXPO director Ihor Hlibko.

The list of companies participating in the discount program will be published on the exhibition's website.

## Large-Scale Equipment Demonstration

More than 50 units of equipment (disc harrows, seeders, plows, cultivators, sprayers, fertilizer spreaders, and more) are demonstrated annually in the field at AGROEXPO. This year will be no exception. Daily field demonstrations of equipment will take place at a special site during the exhibition. Equipment from well-known foreign and domestic brands will be showcased in operation.

"The number of companies wishing to participate in demonstration shows increases every year. Each wants to be represented as widely as possible," emphasized exhibition director Ihor Hlibko.

A detailed schedule of demonstration shows will be available in the relevant section of the exhibition's website.

## More Cars at the Autoland Exhibition

The exhibition of automotive innovations from leading global brands, Autoland, which last year moved to an indoor pavilion and increased its area to 5,000 sq. m., will expand further to 6,500 sq. m. Brands such as Lexus, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Hyundai, Peugeot, Opel, Toyota, and many others will be represented.

For all car enthusiasts, a special test-drive lane will be arranged, offering a unique opportunity to personally test crossovers and SUVs from renowned brands.

## Family Entertainment: International Strongman Competitions and "Pokrovsky Fair"

AGROEXPO-2018 will host the traditional "Pokrovsky Fair," offering visitors various contests and treats. The "Giant Pumpkin" contest will take place on the second day of the exhibition, September 27. The winner will receive a grand prize. Additionally, visitors can purchase folk art items and various souvenirs from craftsmen across Ukraine.

The strongman show led by Vasyl Virastyuk, which took place at last year's exhibition, will take on a radically new format and even greater scale at AGROEXPO-2018. The exhibition organizers, together with the Ukrainian Strongman Federation, will hold international competitions where strongmen from Ukraine and other countries will test their strength. Several types of exercises are planned, such as tractor pulling, loading bags onto a cart for speed, flipping sandbags over a bar, "Conan's carousel," and others.
